Brasschaat Castle
building capture in five views
I recorded the castle in Brasschaat Park as a spatial capture. Five orthographic views show the building from above and along its different façades.
The challenge
Separate photographs do not always explain a building's spatial relationships. A readable presentation of the façades and roof needed a set of fixed views, independent of the park's temporary festival layout.
Our approach
A spatial reconstruction was created from the drone imagery. Five orthographic colour images were exported with their projection files. For the website, I selected only the building views so the castle can be explored as a separate project.
The result
The five views make façades and roof surfaces easy to review. The capture is presented as visual building documentation. Surveying applications require a separate quality check.
