Mapping for engineering firms

SEBAS acts as a flexible data partner: site capture and checked outputs in coordinate systems and file formats agreed in advance.

Questions and answers

What clients often ask

Which formats can an engineering firm expect?

Among others DWG/DXF, LAS/LAZ, GeoTIFF and E57, in the coordinate system agreed in advance, so the data loads into your software without conversion.

How do I know how reliable the data is?

Every capture comes with a check on independent checkpoints and the reported deviation. That way you know in advance which applications the data is fit for, and where a terrestrial survey is still needed.

Can SEBAS also produce linework from the capture?

Yes: the orthophoto or point cloud is turned into usable linework and site information for CAD or GIS, tailored to what your design needs.
