For Fairway Festival 2025, I captured the built site in Edegem as a digital as-built. During build and show, I combined that capture with graphic preparation and production support.

Challenge

The challenge

Production wanted to preserve the temporary layout for later site questions. The visitor route across the golf course also mattered. An extensive set of operational signs still needed preparing on site.

Approach

Our approach

I also captured the golf course around the event area. Vertical and oblique images were processed into an orthophoto, DSM, point cloud and 3D mesh. Final 2D output covered approximately 42.16 hectares; the 3D model was shared through an online viewer.

Starting from one existing banner, I developed a practical design kit. I translated routes and functions defined by production into banners, boards and stickers, obtained approval and placed orders. The production list records 76 assigned design entries and variants, representing 137 delivered items.

Result

The result

The built site remained digitally accessible and was used to check signage. Mapping and design could be coordinated with the same production team. The as-built provides a reference for later questions about the temporary layout.
