For Vagebond Weekend 2025, I worked on drone capture of the built site and graphic preparation of F&B banners. The assignment connected spatial recording with visitor information at Merksplas-Kolonie.
The challenge
A temporary build disappears after the event. Bars, food areas and tills also need to be recognisable within the same festival identity. Different programmes used the same setting at the Open Schuren.
Our approach
The built site was recorded by drone as an as-built. For the food-and-beverage areas, I worked on five design variants: Friet & Snacks, Kassa, Hamburgers, Jack Potato and Drinks. They share one graphic system and clear large-scale naming.
The result
The assignment combined a capture of the temporary layout with five consistent applications for visitor information. The capture serves spatial documentation; the F&B designs identify functions during the event.
